MEET NANCY
Nancy is an award-winning creative strategist, film writer and director, with over 15 years of experience in advertising across the globe, from London to Dubai before returning to her native city of Chicago.
As an advertising executive, she has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Diageo, Kimberly-Clark, Walmart, Sanofi Genzyme, Cox Communications, among others.
Recently, Nancy was the lead strategist on the Cannes Lions Short, The Vulnerable Creator, working with 40 creatives across 8 countries on story development, editing and composition.
Her campaign #ShareASquare for Cottonelle was organically featured on the Jimmy Kimmel show. It subsequently won the Silver Halo Award for Best COVID Initiative. The Halo Awards are North America's highest honors for corporate social initiatives and cause marketing.
Nancy's work on Walmart is featured in the National Museum of American History as part of their 2020 Smithsonian COVID Documentation Project. The museum has referred to her project as a defining example that ‘established a new style and standard for pandemic era filmmaking.’
Nancy wrote and directed the short film Breaking & Entering which won two awards at local film festivals. She is currently working on a non-fiction book about the relationship between mothers and sons.
As an animal rights activist and dog lover, Nancy volunteers at the Humane Society, helping anxious dogs learn healthy behaviors, believing everyone deserves a second chance.
Nancy has completed a triathlon, the Chicago Marathon, and currently runs after her two boys and dog on a daily basis.
She has a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Nancy has worked in London and Dubai, and is currently based in Chicago.
